FaithCore Lab (“FaithCore Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and the privacy of the students, parents, teachers, and schools who use our website, curriculum, and online learning platform (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This Policy applies to visitors to our website, and to parents, guardians, teachers, school administrators, and students who use FaithCore Lab’s curriculum and learning platform. A student under 13 may only use our Services through an account created by a parent, guardian, teacher, or school — students do not create their own accounts.

2. Information We Collect

From parents, guardians, teachers, and school administrators (account holders):

• Name, email address, mailing address, and phone number
• Payment and billing information (processed by our third-party payment processor — see Section 5; we do not store full payment card numbers)
• School or organization name and role
• Communications you send us

About students (collected only through an account holder, never directly from a student under 13):

• First name and/or student ID, grade level, and course enrollment
• Coursework, assessment responses, and progress within assigned courses
• Login activity needed to operate the learning platform

We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child under 13. All student data is provided and managed by the supervising parent, guardian, teacher, or school, consistent with Section 7 below.

Automatically collected information: Like most websites, we use standard analytics tools to understand how visitors use our public website (pages viewed, general location by region, browser type). This applies to our public marketing website only, not to the student-facing learning platform.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including delivering coursework and tracking student progress within an assigned course
• Process payments and manage subscriptions for account holders
• Communicate with account holders about their account, orders, and support requests
• Maintain the security of our Services
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use student information for behavioral advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles of students.

4. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell personal information — of students, parents, or anyone else — to third parties.
• We do not use student data for targeted or behavioral advertising.
• We do not require a student to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in a course.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers who help us operate the Services — for example, our learning platform host (currently Thinkific) and payment processor. These providers are contractually restricted to using information only to provide their service to us, not for their own independent purposes.
• Your school or organization, if you are a student or parent using the Services through a school-issued license — your school administrator may have access to student progress and records as part of their own recordkeeping.
• Legal or safety reasons — if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of a student or the public.
• A change in business ownership — if FaithCore Lab is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a policy providing equivalent protections.

We do not share student information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and student data for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to support recordkeeping such as transcripts and grade history. A parent, guardian, or school administrator may request deletion of student data as described in Section 8, subject to any records a school is legally required to retain.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

FaithCore Lab is a curriculum company serving students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, including children under 13. We are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• Student accounts for children under 13 are created and controlled by a parent, guardian, teacher, or school — never by the child directly.
• When a school enrolls students, the school acts on behalf of parents in authorizing FaithCore Lab’s collection of student information for educational purposes, consistent with COPPA’s school-consent provisions. Schools should ensure this arrangement is consistent with their own parental notification practices.
• When a parent or homeschool guardian creates a student account directly, that action constitutes parental consent to this Policy.
• We collect only the information reasonably necessary for a student to participate in assigned coursework.
• A parent or guardian may review, request correction of, or request deletion of their child’s personal information at any time by contacting legal@faithcorelab.com. We will verify the request and respond within a reasonable time.
• We do not condition a child’s participation in an activity on disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your role and location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you or your child
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your or your child’s information, subject to legal or educational recordkeeping requirements
• Opt out of non-essential email communications (account and billing notices are not optional while your account is active)

To exercise any of these rights, contact legal@faithcorelab.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity or authority (for example, confirming you are the parent or guardian of a student) before completing certain requests.

California residents: You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to know that we do not sell personal information. You may exercise these rights using the contact information above.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies

Our public marketing website may use cookies or similar technologies for basic analytics (understanding site traffic) and site functionality. We do not use cookies on our marketing website for cross-site advertising tracking of children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
