Crossroads: Decisions That Shape Your Future

How good people make bad decisions — and how to build a life that leans the other way.

A cornerstone formation seminar for every student, not a pathway elective. Crossroads replaces fear-based (“Scared Straight”) programs with something truer: here is how good people drift into destructive choices — drugs, alcohol, crime, digital choices, relationships, crisis moments — here is how to recognize the drift, and here is how to build a life that drifts the other way. It ends in hope, and holds the gospel open for the student who has already made one of these decisions — grace, never a verdict.

This is formation, not graded academic mastery — participation and completion only; nothing a student writes is scored, especially in units touching addiction, self-harm, or family loss. Each unit carries real, sourced statistics so students see how real these issues are, a true story handled soberly and never sensationally, and an escalation-only crisis unit (how to get an adult, never counseling or medical instruction). Every unit ships with a bilingual (English & Spanish) parent-companion page so families can continue the conversation at the table.
